Have you ever been peach picking? No? Well, you need to go because walking through rows and rows of fragrant peach trees is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Last weekend, we went to Schnepf Farm with some friends. Even though it was 90+ degrees the heat didn’t stop us from picking and eating way too many peaches.
The farm is out in Queen Creek south-east of Phoenix and sits on the border of the suburbs and rural farms. Each weekend in May Schnepf Farms opens their orchard to the public for an all you can pick peach bonanza! You pick as much as you like and then pay by the pound, roughly $2.20/pound if I’m remembering correctly, which is a fair price that includes the picking experience. We all had a ton of fun and would love to go again!
